Sponsorship

Each year, the Kernsville PTO asks for your sponsorship support to help us continue to provide programs and services to our students that are no longer part of the district's budget.

As you know, the PTO provides school-related social events such as Night on the Circle, and Family Fun Day, but did you know the PTO also funds assemblies and author visits, field trips and 5th grade events, and grants to teachers for classroom supplies?

And did you know the PTO purchases the school's subscription to StoryWorks and StoryWorks, Jr. and provides in-school programs such as Birthday Table, Walking Club, and more?

All told, the PTO spends approximately $60 per student, per year. We design our social events to be self-supporting, but we must fund raise to be able to provide these "extras" that enhance our students' educational experiences.

While we will continue to sponsor several direct sales fundraisers throughout the year, keep in mind that participation in the PTO Sponsorship Campaign is the biggest "bang" for your donation buck. Every dollar raised by the this campaign directly impacts your child and their classmates. Please consider making a donation. Thank you for your support!
